Advice and Guidance (A&G) is used by GPs to get advice from hospital specialists. The types of advice that may be requested include, but are not limited to, treatment plans, interpretation of results and/or advice on appropriateness of referrals/tests. Your GP and hospital specialist will work together to decide if you should continue to be cared for by your GP or if you need to be referred to hospital.
