Nurses

We have six practice nurses who all have additional specialist training in primary care. As well as performing the usual practice nurse procedures they have been trained to monitor specific diseases such as asthma, diabetes and coronary heart disease. Health promotion and health education forms a large part of the work of our nurses and can help patients who would like to improve their health, for example by weight reduction or help to stop smoking.
